About

About Wise Platform

A small Seoul practice devoted to reading finance approval applications the way a careful credit officer would.

Why we exist

Finance approval applications are assembled under deadline pressure. Figures move, attachments arrive late, and the cover narrative is often written by someone who never sat with the schedules. We founded Wise Platform in Gangnam to give applicants a second, independent reading before a bank or lessor sees the file.

Our work is not lending, accounting certification, or legal counsel. It is application audit: structured scrutiny of the package you plan to submit.

Origin

The practice grew out of years spent on the other side of the table — preparing credit memoranda and watching otherwise sound facilities stumble on avoidable documentation gaps. In Seoul’s Teheran-ro corridor, where many mid-market facilities are negotiated, those gaps cost weeks. We opened an office at 427 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu so clients could walk a draft file into a quiet room and leave with a clear list of fixes.

How we work

  • Two readers on every Full File Audit, then a reconciled note
  • Findings ranked by risk to approval, not by rhetorical flourish
  • Plain language; we avoid inflating minor typos into “critical” issues
  • Strict confidentiality; files stay within the engagement team

Values in practice

We decline engagements that ask us to disguise weak credit. We will say when a file is not ready. We charge for reading time, not for hopeful language. Clients who want advocacy toward a lender are better served by their existing banking relationship managers; we stay with the application itself.
