Refund & cancellation policy

This Policy applies to paid application audit engagements with Wise Platform. It does not apply to free website browsing. We do not sell physical goods or software subscriptions.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on whether reading work has started, whether a deposit reserved a calendar week, and whether delay is caused by incomplete client materials.

Deposit

A 50% deposit reserves the agreed reading week. The deposit is credited toward the engagement fee. Deposits are refundable in full if we cancel the engagement for our own capacity reasons.

Cancellation by you

• More than five business days before the scheduled start: deposit refunded minus a ₩150,000 administration fee
• Within five business days before start, before reading begins: 50% of the deposit retained; remainder refunded
• After reading has begun: deposit is non-refundable; work completed to date is invoiced proportionally

Cancellation by us

If we cannot perform the engagement, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work. We will notify you promptly and, where possible, offer a later date.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least five business days’ notice is allowed without fee, subject to capacity. Later or repeated reschedules may require a new deposit or adjusted fee.

Incomplete files / pause

If materials are too incomplete to audit, we pause the engagement. After ten business days without workable materials, we may close the engagement and refund unused fees net of time already spent scoping and reading what was supplied.

Work already started

Once practitioners have begun reading your finance approval application, fees for time incurred are payable. Partial refunds may apply to unused portions of the second invoice installment if work stops early by mutual agreement.

Non-refundable items

• Administration fees stated above
• Third-party costs you authorized in writing (for example courier of originals), if any
• Completed audit notes already delivered

No-shows

If you miss a scheduled debrief without notice, the engagement remains complete upon delivery of the written note; we are not obliged to refund. A replacement debrief may be booked at our discretion.

Refund process & timing

Email hello@wiseplatform.digital with your engagement reference and reason. Approved refunds are returned to the original payer by bank wire within fourteen business days after approval. Processing times at receiving banks vary.

Refund method

Refunds are issued by wire transfer only, matching the original payment account where practicable.

Exceptions

Mandatory rights under South Korean consumer or commercial law that cannot be waived remain available. This Policy is intended for business clients commissioning professional services; where a mandatory rule differs, that rule prevails.
