Client stories

Notes from people who brought us a draft finance approval application and left with a clearer file.

“They caught a mismatch between our lease schedule and the collateral appendix three days before our bank meeting. Awkward to fix — far better than explaining it to the committee.”

Min-seo Park · Finance manager · Full File Audit

We only booked the consistency check. The list came back shorter than I expected, which I appreciated — mostly date and entity-name slips. One revenue figure in the cover letter still did not match the P&L; that alone justified the fee.

Daniel Ortiz · Owner, specialty importer · Pre-Submission Consistency Check

The appendix memo on our equipment list was blunt about missing serial references. We were not thrilled to hear it mid-week, but the lessor’s first questions tracked their note almost line for line.

Yuri Choi · Operations lead · Collateral & Appendix Review

Calm readers, no sales theatre. The debrief ran long because we asked many questions; they stayed with the file instead of pitching another engagement. I would have liked a Korean-language summary option — we translated key pages ourselves.

Hana Bergström · CFO, manufacturing JV · Full File Audit

Extended note: working-capital renewal, Mapo

A mid-size wholesaler approached us eight days before a renewal committee. The narrative claimed stable margins; the monthly schedules showed a soft quarter that had not been explained. Our Full File Audit ranked that gap first, ahead of cosmetic typos in the guarantor pack.

The client added a short margin bridge and a purchase-order appendix. The bank still asked for an updated aged-receivables report — something outside our original scope — but the contradiction that would have dominated the first meeting was gone. The finance manager later told us the committee spent its time on forward orders, not on reconciling last quarter’s story.

Extended note: equipment lease package

A clinic group sought a lease facility for imaging equipment. Collateral descriptions named model families; invoices named specific units. Our appendix review flagged every unmatched line and noted two insurance certificates that expired before the proposed draw date.

They delayed submission by five days, replaced the certificates, and aligned the schedule. The lessor’s credit team returned only one clarification — on residual value assumptions — rather than a list of documentation defects.
